Love letter to Kyrgyzstan in photos from Albert Dros

In 2018, landscape photographer Albert Dros first visited Kyrgyzstan, a landlocked state in Central Asia. The mountainous terrain of this country gives endless dramatic landscapes in which peaks and valleys replace each other. These views make the heart of any photographer melt. This year, Dros traveled to Kyrgyzstan for the third time to explore regions that he had not visited before. Albert took a huge number of magnificent pictures of southern Kyrgyzstan and its inhabitants. A series of shots became a visualization of a photographer’s love story with this colorful country.

Kyrgyzstan is a wonderful place for photographers, practically unaffected by destructive tourism, clean and quiet. In these uncharted territories, the photographer is free to hone his skills, without fear of repeating what he had already been removed from a dozen other famous colleagues and thousands of ordinary travelers.
