How is the battle of ferocious leopards for the territory

Kgalagadi Cross-border Park is located in South Africa in two countries - Botswana and South Africa. The total area of the park is 38,000 square kilometers. Since it is located in the south of the Kalahari desert, its main landscape is giant sand dunes and salt marshes. Despite this, the fauna of Kgalagadi is very diverse, so there are often encounters with wild animals, and you will remember each of them for life, whether it be a simple interaction or an epic fight.

One of the lucky ones who returned home under an unforgettable experience was the photographer Fani Haymans. He is an eyewitness to a truly spectacular sight - the battle of ferocious leopards.

Fani Heymans followed along the African river Auob, when he suddenly saw a leopard, towards which another followed. Just a few seconds - and the picture turns into a living hell. A loud growl, a cycle of instant events and a cloud of dust that filled the air. The earth literally trembled beneath the car. So began a fierce battle of predators for the territory.

Although what was happening lasted only a few seconds, it was an unusually exciting and at the same time scary moment. It seems that huge ruthless cats fight not for life but for death, and when one began to retreat, the other did not allow him, so the battle was destined to continue. It took only a few minutes to find out who is in charge, but these were some of the most spectacular minutes! At the end, the dust settled and the leopards dispersed in different directions.
