Submarine base in Pavlovsky Bay - shelter in case of nuclear war

In Pavlovsky Bay, Primorsky Territory, right in the coastal rock, a labyrinth of underwater and ground tunnels has been dug. This is supposedly a shelter for submarines in the event of a nuclear war. After 1991, its construction was mothballed, although it remained to complete the smallest detail - to produce interior decoration. Work ceased precisely when the USSR and America signed an agreement to reduce offensive weapons.

Pavlovskoye shelter is located on the territory of the existing base of nuclear submarines and is guarded by armed patrols.

However, for some extreme people this is not a hindrance. Let's see what incredible photos they managed to make, getting inside the object:

In the system of moves you can get lost.

The facility is mothballed, but can be quickly restored in the event of a nuclear threat.

Of course, much has deteriorated here and in some places even collapsed.

But in general, the object produces a truly impressive sight.

The length of the tunnels cannot be estimated, because most of them are flooded, but it seems that they are huge.

The water level rises as it moves deeper into the tunnel.

Tracks for workers and technicians.

Traveling through the maze is very dangerous.

But such a journey will be impossible to forget.

This is the entrance from the sea. In winter, the bay is covered with ice.
