Conrad Hotels & Resorts: Relax with inspiration!

The global project Stay Inspired will allow hotel staff to become trained guides for programs lasting 1, 3 and 5 hours.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts, a luxury resort chain, announces the launch of the Stay Inspired program (www.stayinspired.com), a global project that marks a real cultural shift in the hotel industry and new standards for staff training: from now on, any employee of the Conrad hotel will become an erudite guide for guests in the city or area where he works, and will be able to tell a maximum of interesting facts and stories. In each of the 24 Conrad hotels, anyone who wants to get to know the local culture, can now book 1-, 3- or 5-hour recommendation programs using the Conrad Concierge mobile application or on the StayInspired.com website.

The initiator and first leader of the Stay Inspired program was Neil Motamed, whose responsibility is to develop the author’s concept and introduce the basic principles of the program, as well as to demonstrate its significance for guests of Conrad hotels. Prior to joining the Conrad network, Neilou worked as the Editor-in-Chief of Epicurious, the award-winning digital gastronomy project of Condé Nast Publishing House, as well as the Special Projects Director and Senior Correspondent of Travel + Leisure Magazine.

As the new director, Neil has traveled to Conrad resorts around the world and introduced the initial components of the Stay Inspired program. Resource StayInspired.com meets the wishes of modern travelers who seek to combine work, relaxation and pleasure, and offers 1-, 3- and 5-hour recommendation programs called Conrad 1/3/5. Each recommendation is a fresh and unconventional view of the city or locality and includes tips on gastronomy, shopping, art objects and design projects, cultural attractions, family vacations and adventure opportunities.

“Modern wealthy travelers choose destinations where they can discover something new. That is why we pay special attention not only to how our concierges communicate with guests, but also to the service of each employee,” says the head of the Conrad Hotels chain & Resorts John Wanderslays - Thanks to our collaboration with Nilu, we trained all employees, enriched them with new knowledge, and now they can provide guests with thoughtful recommendations on the city or locality, which exceeds the standard “calculated” ones carried between the concierge and guests. We have become not just hotels, but fascinating storytellers. "

The StayInspired.com resource, also available as a Conrad Concierge mobile application, offers hotel chain guests to use one of the proposed programs for 1, 3 or 5 hours, or to choose the specifics depending on interests. With the help of StayInspired.com, guests of Conrad resorts will be able to save and share the proposed Conrad 1/3/5 programs, see the selected content (photos, videos, maps), book a room and program using the concierge. The latter, in turn, will help guests in the implementation of the intended program using tablet computers.

"Hotel guests want to use any free time that appears during travels to discover something new. They want to get acquainted with the genuine sights of the city or locality, which are not written in guidebooks and which are far from crowded hiking trails, - says Neil Motamed, Stay Inspired Program Manager, “Our new Conrad 1/3/5 collection offers the most relevant content and recommendations that will allow our guests to live life to the fullest.

Everyone will be able to discuss the innovation on social networks: follow @ConradHotels on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #StayInspired.
