North Korea, as it is: a fresh photo report from isolation

One of the most isolated states in the world, North Korea seems to be going through an amazing and incredible time. A few months ago, unexpectedly for the international community, the country's government announced the cessation of nuclear weapons development and allowed the American expert delegation to its nuclear testing ground.

Kim Jong-un said that the DPRK is changing course, it is ready to go closer and establish partnerships with other states. And the other day an event took place that will forever go down in the history of mankind - the head of North Korea met with the US president.

It is difficult to believe what is happening, given the history of the state and all the information and pictures that one way or another managed to take, take out and show to the inhabitants of the free world. Nevertheless, the life of North Koreans will soon change dramatically, and photographers will no longer have to be desperate daredevils to come to the DPRK, secretly shoot reports about the everyday life of local residents, and then, at the risk of their own life and freedom, try to smuggle this material across the border. So the photo story created by Karim Sahai could be one of the last such dangerous events. We will show it.
