Can people find a bigfoot or a giant octopus

We live in the 21st century and, it would seem, man explored the Earth far and wide, found all possible types of animals. No, of course, there are small fish, new species of mushrooms or insects, but there is no "large prey" for the discoverers. Tales of giant squid and octopus capable of sinking the ship, remained only in the novels of Jules Verne. But is it? As always in science, everything is not so simple.

Trillion Secrets

Today in the world there are 8.7 million classified species of living things. According to scientists, another 5 million are waiting in the wings. If we add microbes and bacteria to this, the number of still undiscovered organisms will jump to 1 trillion. Impressive, right?

Recently, scientists have discovered more and more new species of animals. What is only recently found in Africa primacy, which was named Pygmy Galago. Or a huge goliath tarantula spider that can scare the most persistent arachnolyub. Not to mention the many fish and other living things.

But these are not all very big creatures. What about really large animals - the famous Bigfoot or the Loch Ness monster? It’s hard to say about these two, but in general, living creatures of this size may well still be hiding from human eyes.

Who lives at the bottom of the ocean?

Although people really traveled the globe up and down, there are still places that are difficult for humans to explore. For example, in caves where living creatures have to live in extreme conditions, like in Movile Cave in Romania, known as "poisonous". And no wonder: there is no oxygen inside it, but it contains a high density of dangerous gases, such as hydrogen and sulfide. Try to explore!

Also among such places that are difficult to study are the Amazonian rainforests, deadly deserts, and the high Himalayan mountains. All of them periodically give scientists new species of insects, birds and animals.

But if there is a truly gigantic creature on Earth that managed to hide from man, then it lives in the ocean. The depths of ocean waters are difficult to explore, so the ocean keeps its secrets securely. Scientists believe that another two-thirds of sea creatures are not found. And given the pace of extinction of fauna, many species simply do not live to be open.
