In the Sydney metro, the architect created a stunning installation from an old escalator

Australia is famous for its stunning wildlife and poisonous snakes, but little is said about it in the context of architecture (except for the magnificent Opera House). But the new installation that we will show you today will definitely add the country to the list of places with the most surreal buildings in the world.

The installation at the Sydney Wynyard Underground Station is located in the heart of the commercial capital of Australia and won the hearts of Sydney residents and visitors.

The design is called Interloop and weighs more than 5 tons. The ceiling sculpture was made from parts of an old wooden escalator, and was invented and developed by Chris Fox, a professor at the University of Sydney. Interloop symbolizes the connection between the new and the old.
