Japanese diver, 25 years old, comes to visit her best fish friend in an underwater sanctuary

Today we will introduce you to an amazing Japanese diver who has been friends with fish for a quarter century.

Hiroyuki Arakawa was instructed to look after one of the Shinto-torii shrines, which are located below the surface of Toyama Bay in Japan. Over the years of devoted work, he managed to get acquainted with many sea creatures living in the local waters, and became very friends with an Asian cape-cod crucian named Yoriko. Not so long ago, a video in which a Japanese greets his underwater friend with a kiss became viral and scattered around the world.

The Japanese diver and his friend Yoriko have been friends for 25 years.

Each time they meet, a man greets the fish with a kiss.

Their first meeting took place when Arakawa was tasked with caring for the underwater Shinto shrine.
