A true Soviet man: 15 portraits of residents of the USSR

As you know, the Soviet Union occupied a huge area and united very different countries and peoples with different cultures and traditions. Despite all these differences and such a striking imagination of the vastness of the territories, the USSR managed to create some kind of general, collective image of its citizen. But the truth is, all Soviet people looked about the same. We found a curious selection of photographs depicting residents of an already defunct state, photographed by foreigners who were on this side of the Iron Curtain.
