Before becoming a world famous photographer, Joseph Szabo worked as a teacher at a long school on Long Island. From the very first days of work, he realized that he needed something special to attract the attention of his students. So he brought his camera to school.

Szabo admits that he never intended to turn photography into his own business and make a living from this business. Perhaps that is why his photographs are distinguished by special liveliness and sincerity. Today we are often used to scolding modern youth and complaining about it because of supposedly excessive rebellion and uncontrollability.
