How do Chinese peasants live?

Traveling around the province of China, we visited several villages. They saw how peasants live far beyond the boundaries of the metropolis. The roads leading to these villages are magnificent in the literal sense of the word, but this is where all the splendor in the village ends. They live only in their garden and cattle. Of the benefits of civilization, there is electricity, and they drown houses in black, making a fire directly on the floor in a small recess. They sleep on the straw. Window openings are covered with film. The impression that life in this village stopped another 100 years ago ...

We visited this house

We were invited to the hearth. They heat the housing with a bonfire, which is built right on the floor. Smoke escapes through the cracks in the roof.

In honor of us, they made a small noise fireworks.

Then we went to the "ghost village". This is an abandoned village, although when we arrived there, we saw that one house seemed to be residential. Before this village we had to swim on the lake in a rowboat.
