Countries that can be accessed by visas of other states

We are all used to the fact that some countries need a visa, some do not. In some of them you can get it on arrival, and in some you need to apply for a visa in advance.

But sometimes it happens that if you have a valid visa to a third country, you do not need to apply for an entry visa. What is especially interesting, most of these countries that allow entry on "extraneous" visas are quite small, and it is unlikely that you would ever have specially bothered to get a visa there and plan a separate trip. And so it becomes possible to take them into account in your routes and, if possible, visit.

So, below is a complete list of such countries indicating all the features of entry on a third country visa.

Albania

Schengen (multivisa C, D or residence permit), multivisa USA and UK are suitable. Staying in the country within the validity period of the visa, but not more than 90 days out of 180, visas must be used at least once to enter Schengen / USA / UK.

Anguilla

United Kingdom (all types of visas).

Bermuda

Suitable visa UK, Canada, USA (multiple entry visas of all types). Duration of stay - up to 90 days.

Bulgaria

Suitable visas are Romania, Cyprus, Croatia (national visas and residence permits) and Schengen (visa categories C, D and residence permits). Schengen visa C must be double or multiple, single entry cannot be entered. The maximum permitted duration of stay is within the validity period of the visa, but no more than 90 days every 180 days.

Schengen (multiple category C visas, category D visas and residence permits), Canada, USA (residence permits). The duration of stay for holders of Schengen visas is 30 days, for holders of residence permits in Canada, USA, Schengen - 90 days.

Gibraltar

Great Britain, Schengen (category C). A UK visa must be multiple-entry with a validity period of 6 months or more; the term of stay in Gibraltar with a Schengen visa is up to 21 days, if the Schengen visa is valid for less than 21 days, you can stay in Gibraltar based on: the remaining number of days on a Schengen visa minus 7 days. The minimum validity of a Schengen visa is at least 7 days at the time of departure from Gibraltar.

Ireland

A UK visa will do. The first entry on such a visa must be made in the UK.

Cyprus

Schengen (category C), national visas of Bulgaria and Romania. If the Schengen visa is double or multi, then the first entry on it must be in Schengen, and then to Cyprus. If single entry - entry to Cyprus is carried out only from the Schengen territory. Duration of stay on a Schengen visa - in accordance with the number of days indicated in it, on visas of Bulgaria and Romania - transit 5 days.

Schengen (multiple category C visas and category D visas). Duration of stay - 30 days.

Mariana islands

U.S. visa. The visa must be valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry to the islands.

Marshall Islands

Mexico

USA (tourist, transit, business visa). Duration of stay - up to 180 days.

Norfolk Island

Visa of Australia. Valid for another 30 days after the end of the visit to the island.

Oman

UAE visa (tourist, guest or business visa).

Reunion

Schengen if there is an entry in the visa sticker: also valid for Reunion.

Romania

Visa of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia (national visas), Schengen visa of category C, residence permit in the EU countries. In the presence of a Schengen visa or national visas of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia - up to 90 days every 180 days (within the period allowed for staying on this visa). Category C Schengen visa must be double or multiple.

Saint martin

Turks and Caicos Islands

Great Britain, USA, Canada. Double or multivisa. The first entry must be made to the country that issued the visa.

French guiana

Schengen if there is an entry in the visa sticker: also valid for French Guiana.

Croatia

Schengen (category of visas C, D or residence permit), visas of Bulgaria, Cyprus and Romania. Category Schengen visa, or national visa of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Romania must be double or multiple. Allowed duration of stay - within the period specified in the Schengen visa, but not more than 90 days every 180 days
