Abandoned Psychiatric Hospital in Belgium

Researchers of interesting abandoned places and just those who like to tickle their nerves will incredibly enjoy the former psychiatric hospital Salve Mater in Belgium. An abandoned building looks so atmospheric that it is difficult to imagine a more terrible place.

This psychiatric hospital was intended exclusively for women.

Queen Elizabeth discovered it in 1927 on lands owned by Belgian counts.

The walls of the building contain scary memories and a difficult past. And when you walk around the rooms it seems that you are about to meet an angry ghost.

In addition to the clinic itself, office buildings and a monastery were also located in the central building.

The central building was closed in 1997, and the rest operated until 2007. From that moment, the hospital began to be considered officially abandoned.

Previously, the clinic was surrounded by a luxurious park with a diverse collection of beautiful plants and trees, brightening the patients their difficult existence.

Tourists come to this place, abandoned by everyone quite often, which is not surprising, given how many unusual impressions it gives to its visitors.

How terrible to come here and see the walls covered with bloody stains!

Blood, of course, is not real. Initially, she was not here. This production was arranged by some pranksters in order to mock impressionable tourists.

However, now the former clinic looks even more sinister. Perhaps it could even be an excellent decoration for the filming of a horror movie.
