That is why there are always so many visitors to the Royal Armory, the famous museum of Great Britain. One unusual headgear stored in the Leeds Armory deserves special attention - we are talking about the famous horned helmet of Henry VIII. Unfortunately, this is the only item of impressive uniforms that has been preserved to this day, the rest of the armor is considered lost.

Be that as it may, the appearance of the helmet is striking, and its detailing is completely enthralling. The face of the person is completely imitated on the mask, there are even dimples and bristles, and wrinkles are visible around the eyes. It is made of thin iron and decorated everywhere with patterns.

In their frame, of course, there were never glasses, and they were made, as many researchers say, to more intimidate the enemies, as, perhaps, huge swirling horns. At the same time, these armors never participated in battles, but were intended only for tournaments and parades.
