A woman who cannot walk travels with a blind man

And today we will talk about a duet of such unique personalities.

No obstacles are terrible for those who know how to work in a team, this is proved by Melania Knecht and Trevor Khan. Melania was born with a rather rare and complex defect - spina bifida. And this means that she is not able to move without a wheelchair.

Her travel buddy Khan lost his sight due to glaucoma five years ago. But the guys think that this is not a reason to refuse hiking and hiking. They began to explore the mountains and trails of Colorado together after they met on adaptation courses.

Melania says that they thought there was common sense in camping trips and adventures. Trevor became her legs, and she his eyes.

So they created common goals and shared responsibility.

Knecht from childhood loved to study nature and attended campsites. Recently, she visited Easter Island, where in a carry on the back of Trevor she conquered even sheer cliffs.

Khan was a fan of outdoor sports. Even blindness did not force him to abandon his favorite hobby.

They explore the trails of Colorado together: she is tied to his back, and he is carefully following her instructions. Melania says that she describes in detail everything she sees and says, and tells how Trevor should move.

According to both, the most fascinating thing about their travels is overcoming obstacles that would be insurmountable if the guys did not decide to join forces.
