Dungeon scenes that beckon and scare at the same time

All kinds of caves and dungeons have always been something mysterious and attractive. Some of them were created by nature, others by humans. The reasons for this could be very different: a person might need a dwelling or shelter, mines or tunnels, and, perhaps, excavations began even for the sake of searching for any values or archaeological discoveries. Many of the existing caves and dungeons are so amazing that to visit there is one of the most memorable events in life.

This unique place is an incredible sewer storm system, which was built between 1992 and 2006 to protect the urban population from floods. Officially, the dungeon is called the “External Underground Canal for Unloading the Territory of a City with Suburbs” or, as it is called by its simple name, G-Bank. It took three billion dollars to create this giant collector with six-kilometer tunnels connecting 5 huge bins into one tank, which is called the Temple. The temple is the most massive part of G-Bank, which is supported by 59 columns of impressive size.

Gaping Gill is a whole system of caves located at a depth of 100 meters. It is extremely complex and huge. The photo shows the entrance to the Gaping Gill.
