A guy came to Amsterdam and found that he had booked a container on Airbnb

A guy named Ben Speller was going to visit the wonderful, adored by many tourists, Amsterdam. To find a place to live in the Dutch capital, he turned to the Airbnb application. Everything was working out as well as possible, very quickly he turned up the ideal option that met all his needs and budget. Without hesitation, Speller booked a "well-kept apartment with a full bathroom," which cost him $ 125.

Finally, on day X, arriving at the address, Ben was bewildered because he had discovered not quite what he had expected.

Later in an interview, he said that he wrapped several circles in a taxi around a container location, trying to find a house with an apartment that he rented. He could not believe his eyes and decided to verify what was happening. The traveler opened the door of the container, examined everything inside and went to the hotel.

The British decided not to stay in rented housing and was soon accommodated in a hotel, which cost him another $ 290.

Neither Airbnb representatives nor the defrauded client were able to find the owner of the container. Fortunately, the company reimbursed Speller all the money spent and expenses for the hotel.

The container, which was supposed to become Ben’s abode for a few days, was soon removed from the street.
