Visiting culinary champion Baros Maldives

The small private tropical island on which the elite resort of Baros Maldives is located pleases its guests not only with nature, impeccable service and thoughtful to the smallest detail design. Its strength is gastronomy from A to Z, which was confirmed by a victory in a culinary contest, where prestigious Asian hotels fought for the title of Excellence in Culinary Arts for four days. Baros has become the best in all the Maldives, and it is no coincidence.

On the island there are 3 restaurants and 2 bars, in one of which the President of the Maldives regularly visits, without denying himself the pleasure of tasting seafood dishes in a modern reading by the chef.

13 chefs took part in this prestigious competition, winning 5 gold, 13 silver and 16 bronze medals in 9 categories. The total number of participants was 637 cooks from 63 resorts and restaurants of the archipelago, and the work of 30 respected industry professionals from around the world: Asia, Europe, Australia, Scandinavia, South Africa and the Middle East was judged.
