In Seoul, robots will build a museum for themselves

Many specialists in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence have long warned that robots will soon begin to increasingly crowd out people, occupying their jobs. Robots work at automobile factories and enterprises for the collection of computer equipment, replace people in hazardous jobs or where people still can not get, for example, in space missions on Mars. And now the next news about the use of robots came from Seoul, where they plan to build a museum with their help. And it will be nothing but a museum of robotics. The author of the project is a Turkish architectural firm Melike Altinisik Architects.

As befits such a structure, a futuristic style is chosen for the design of the future museum. The facade of the museum will consist of separate jigsaw puzzles, and the building itself will have the shape of a sphere. The interior design of the museum will be no less interesting. The authors of the project hope that the use of various robots will not only save time and money, but will also win the attention of a potential audience already at the construction stage, because watching their work is very exciting.

It is planned that the concrete structures of the building will be printed on a 3D printer. All kinds of robots and unmanned aerial vehicles will most actively participate in the assembly of building elements. But of course, people will control the main stages of construction.

The start of construction is planned for 2020, and already in 2022 the opening of the Robotics Museum in Seoul will take place, which is designed to increase people's interest in this area, as well as to familiarize the residents and guests of the capital with the latest achievements in the development and use of robots.
