New York is a donut, Berlin is a beer: people have drawn their associations with cities

What is your city associated with? Smells, food, colors, architecture, various objects of cultural heritage - all this can symbolize the place. And these symbols arise and affirm in the representation of people for years. It seems like they are even passed down from generation to generation. It is unlikely that something that came into being a couple of months ago can become significant for any corner of the Earth. But that which exists for years and decades without losing its success and popularity is often fixed in our mind as an integral attribute of a city or an entire country.

For this reason, we consider the experiment conducted by one of the well-known foreign travel agencies to be so curious. Agency employees interviewed people to find out what image appears in their head when mentioning various famous cities. They asked the respondents to draw a symbol denoting, in their opinion, each of the settlements. And they got a collection of funny images that were combined into collages corresponding to each city. It turned out, I must say, very stylish!
