The family sold everything and bought an old truck to show the 4-year-old son the beauty of the planet

Once, the Nardin family from Austria sold all their belongings, turned an old military truck into a comfortable mobile home, and set off to explore the world.

The daily hustle and bustle of the Western world was very disappointing for the couple, who dreamed of spending as much time with their son as possible. They wanted to educate the child on their own, to show him the beauty, diversity and fragility of the world. So the decision was formed to go on a journey for an indefinite period.

Naturally, in the course of such a grandiose and romantic undertaking, the Austrians faced many very unromantic problems: organization, bureaucracy, technical difficulties. However, having successfully overcome all obstacles, the Nardin family realized their dream.

They began their journey across Europe with motorcycle rides.

The first stops were Greece and Turkey.

Then followed the Star Valley in the Middle East.

Iranian desert.

The next on their Silk Road was Uzbekistan.

And then the mountains in Tajikistan.

The Hindu Kush rises on the border with Afghanistan at 7,000 meters.

Freedom is the leitmotif of Central Asia.

In Kyrgyzstan, they rode horses in the mountains.

Tien Shan mountain range.

Beautiful Russia.

In the steppes of Mongolia, they met nomads.

And we met winter on the shore of Lake Baikal.

The family crossed Siberia at a temperature of -30 degrees.

And finally arrived in Vladivostok. Here the first year of their journey ended.
