10 nations that spend the most on travel

Traveling expands your consciousness, but it certainly reduces your bank account. Even taking into account all the useful recommendations for saving on travel, significant expenses are inevitable. According to statistics, in 2013, Americans spent $ 104 billion on tourist trips abroad. TravelAsk wondered what nations spend the most on their international trips.

The answer can be found in the study of the World Tourism Organization and identify the 10 nations that in 2014 spent the most on tourism.

In this peculiar squandering competition, Chinese tourists won a landslide victory, having laid out unrealistic 164.9 billion dollars from their wallets. The second place was taken by the Americans, who spent on travel almost 50% less - 110.8 billion dollars. But, in fairness, it is worth noting that China is significantly superior to the United States in terms of population. In third place were the Germans, who replenished the treasury of other states by 92.2 billion dollars. At the same time, they became champions in expenditures per person - $ 1,137.
