Water Park - the best water park in Rhodes for adults and children

We went to the water park in Rhodes mainly for the sake of a child, but in fact it turned out that it was such a mega cool park that it was interesting even for us adults, and we regretted that we came here only for half a day, and not for the whole.

There are hotels in Rhodes with water parks, which are quite decent, but Water Park is the only free-standing water park on the island, which is considered one of the largest and most interesting in the whole Mediterranean.

The water park is located in the resort of Faliraki, a 20-minute drive from Rhodes, opposite the Esperos Palace. You can get to it by regular bus, having reached the Esperos Hotel, but then you will have to walk a little uphill. In addition, free buses run to the water park, but they still need to be caught. Well, if there is no desire to climb the hill, then you need to go by car or taxi. Taxi from the center of Faliraki to the water park costs 5 euros, from Rhodes - 17 euros.

As I already wrote, Water Park is one of the largest water parks in the region. Its area is about 100 thousand square meters. meters! Naturally, in such a vast territory there are almost any water slides and attractions for all ages!

Water Park is located on a hill, so we will begin the tour from below, where the area for small visitors to the park is located.

Here is such a small paddling pool will delight the smallest kids who have just learned to walk, and maybe even crawl.

For older children, a large pirate ship was built, surrounded by a shallow pool. In addition, there are 2 small slides, a Wet Bubble, a tipping bucket and a small playground. My 3-year-old daughter from this place was simply delighted and did not want to leave.

For older children who have not yet turned 12 years old (and this is exactly what is needed for adult slides), a mini-complex with reduced copies of adult slides has been built.

Well, adults are completely expanse here! What is there, from slow and leisurely pokatushki to extreme slopes on the kamikaze slides. I started by riding on bagels called rafts here. In general, I prefer slides with bagels, for I don’t really like scratching my back and butt at the joints.

One on the raft is boring, and the speed is not the same. But on double bagels you can have more fun! But ... my soulmate was watching a little pirate in the children’s area, so I went looking for something faster.

And this is the “Twister” - two intertwined slides on which you loop at a good speed through dark tubes. It's already more fun here.

Attraction "Sting Rey" offers a donut ride on such a cup-shaped hill.

First we fly sharply down, then up, then down again and up again ... and then into the pool. But, of course, the most interesting is the very first descent down! Almost everyone is screaming here.

My favorite "Racing on the mats", where we roll down the grooves lying on our stomach on special mattresses. You can pick up very good speed here if you wish. So I accelerated so well that I flew through the entire brake pool and ran ashore, while decently kicking my foot. Some braking distance is too short here. In general, this is one of my favorite slides in all water parks. But not that.

Space Bowl or just a funnel. We accelerate through the tunnel and fly into a huge funnel, from which we then plop down from a height into the pool. I want to warn women - this slide has a piquant feature to tear off the upper part of the swimsuit! So, guys, you know where the most beautiful view;)

Alas, I failed to test these "Crazy Cones", as the slide was closed for repairs. Or maybe she is too "crazy", and therefore they decided to leave her only for beauty?

And so I went to the most extreme slides! There are three of them - “Kamikaze”, “Turbo” and “Free Fall”. And to be honest, one is cooler than the other ...

“Kamikaze” (in the center) is a classic fast descent with one springboard in the middle. There are such everywhere.

Freefall (right) is just a crazy steep descent! The speed here is simply unrealistic, and the overload at the exit from the descent will be like that of astronauts when the rocket starts. The main thing is to go to the toilet before riding.

“Turbo” (on the left) is also a descent at the highest speed, but if in the “fall” we experience vertical overload, then in the “turbo” horizontal overloads await us in a steep, turbocharged turn!

I left these three slides at the very end, because after them I don’t want anything else, except just to lie down and rest. And here, by the way, there are never any queues)))

Of course, in addition to fast and extreme, there are also relaxation areas with quiet skating. For example, the classic "Slow River" in a quiet and peaceful place. Great place to relax after any turbo kamikaze.

In addition, the Water Park water park has a swimming pool with sun loungers, a pool with artificial waves, which include once every half an hour, and a few quiet slides that were not particularly interesting to me. And at the bottom at the foot of the water park, right next to the road, a small lunar park and a Ferris wheel were built. So there is more than enough entertainment here and you can safely come for the whole day.

Admission for adults (12+) costs 22 euros, children from 3 to 12 - 15 euros, up to 3 years - free of charge. The water park is open from 9.30 to 19.00 in the summer and until 18.00 in the fall and spring (May, September, October).
