The life of the Dutch youth of the 1980s on the pictures of Maya Pezhich

The 80s of the last century in the Netherlands were very stormy for young people. The most diverse cultures and trends developed incredibly dynamically. Representatives of the young generation, one after another, joined groups and organizations arising with cosmic speed - religious, sports, political, social and cultural. The life of “hope and the future of the country” was in full swing: everyone studied somewhere, defended someone else’s rights and carefully changed the world around them.

This exciting period was captured by the photographer Maya Pezhich. She was a master of social and documentary filming, and her works on Dutch youth of that time were eventually presented at many prestigious exhibitions in the world.
