Impressive black and white photos of exotic animals - this is not quite what it seems

Incredible black and white photographs of Luke Landers are created in order to emphasize the beauty of the animal world. But take a closer look at them and you will notice something unusual. These grainy artistic representations of animals in their natural habitat are not quite what they seem at first glance.

A Brooklyn wildlife photographer doesn't need to buy an exotic safari ticket to make such stunning shots. He just needs to get a ticket to the local museum. Thanks to high ISO filming, a trip to the Natural History Museum in New York turns into the perfect wildlife photo shoot.

All the images of animals that you will see here are actually part of the museum’s picturesque displays, so we can only admire the skill and resourcefulness of Landers!
