14 evidence that Finnish schools are the most incredible and phenomenal in the world

The school reforms that Finland once carried out in its educational institutions brought the country's education to the highest level. And all this despite the fact that students in this country spend at least time studying, and only half an hour a day at home! Education in Finland is completely free

This means that parents do not pay for textbooks, or for excursions, lunches or school supplies. The state pays for everything and spends considerable amounts on it - more than 12% of the country's total budget.

Each student has an individual approach, and if he is not interested in the lesson, he can do what he wants

In the lessons, all students perform tasks of different complexity, corresponding to their personal abilities. The teacher can work with the child individually if he sees that he is not coping with the program.

Only a student knows his grades

In Finland, up to grade 3 grades are not given at all, grades 3 through 7 are marked only in words, and a complete grading system is introduced only in the upper grades and is a 10-point grade. Only the student himself knows his points, since the marks are used only so that the student can assess the level of knowledge and adjust his individual curriculum in order to improve it.
