In the Pacific Ocean, 5 rare viper sharks were pulled out that extended their jaws, as in Alien

To date, scientists know about 400 species of sharks. Some of them are found very often by people, while the rest are rare and are described only by single individuals. It is the latter that include viper sharks, which recently fell into the net off the coast of Taiwan. All 5 blue-eyed blue-eyed creatures with sharp teeth were already dead when the fishermen discovered them.

Biologists recognized in the discovery of viper sharks belonging to the little-studied species Trigonognathus kabeyai, which were discovered in 1986. Despite its name, predators do not have poisonous glands, and they nicknamed them so for their resemblance to a snake.

Very little is known about the life of rare viper sharks. Their average size is about 50 centimeters, and jaws with sharp thin teeth can move forward, like creatures from the famous movie "Alien". These predators inhabit, as a rule, at a depth of 300-400 meters. They feed on other fish and crustaceans, swallowing the whole victim. An advantage in hunting for viper sharks is their ability to glow in the dark, so they attract the attention of their potential victims.
