10 amazing aerial shots of what Barcelona would look like if it were a planet

Brazilian photographer Bruno Alencastro, currently living in Barcelona, wants to capture his vision of Europe with unusual shots of the city. “The task is not easy,” you say. Especially considering the fact that with the same desire, hundreds of thousands of travelers flock here every year. However, Alencastro managed not to get lost in this crowd. The photographer took to the skies and created a series of stunning panoramic aerial photographs that turned the areas of Barcelona into small planets.

The Brazilian began with the cult Sagrada Familia Antonio Gaudi, next to whom, by a happy coincidence, he lived. "I was looking for a different angle, so as not to repeat the thousands of almost identical photos that are published daily on social networks"says Alencastro.

Rising into the sky, the photographer took 46 aerial photographs, which he then connected and turned into stereographic projections. The experiment with the legendary temple inspired Alencastro so much that he continued the same with other areas of Barcelona, "turning" the city into a separate planet.
